Me llegó el motoconnect y en 5 minutos instalado, conectado a los 2 IPhone, los 2 intercomViajamos 4000 kilómetros por el sur de Chile, siempre conectados en motoconnect PRO Pantalla CarPlay con Waze, Spotify, teléfono, WhatsAppTamaño Perfecto, control de brillo automático, todo se ve muy bien a cualquier hora del día. Buena adquisición..!!!

I easily installed this on my Suzuki V-strom 1000. I typically use Waze and the motorcycle app REVER to navigate. Both work with CarPlay on this system. Screen is clear and I had no problem sending the sound to my 5 year old Sena helmet speakers. The mounting system offers great flexibility in placement and holds the unit securely. This is significantly larger and easier to see and manipulate than my iPhone was, plus I can keep the phone in my pocket if I want. I’m looking forward to using this on some longer trips when spring comes. This greatly improves the riding experience at a value price.

Ever sense i installed this system on my bike, I've liked it more and more as time past. It's not super expensive and includes a universal Mount for other bikes other then bmw. It was super easy to install!

This is a review for the motoconnect W PRO Motorcycle Carplay Screen for BMW motorcycles.While I got this for "free" as a Vine Reviewer, that did not influence my rating as Vine Voices are expected to provide an honest review and are not "punished" for critical reviews.It is absolutely awesome and one of the best aftermarket products I've come across for my 2016 R1200GS.It mounts in the same factory slot as my BMW branded Garmin GPS system. I've included some pictures for comparison, the motoconnect screen is way bigger and also brighter. Because it's the same factory slot, installation was an absolute breeze.Pairing with my phone was easy, too. During startup, a message was displayed that there are two bluetooth connections: one for the carplay, and one for audio. I was too slow to capture it with my camera, but basically one is for the carplay, the other is for your bluetooth headset. Thus, if you look at the 5th picture (a screenshot of my bluetooth pairing), you can see two bluetooth devices.Once paired, carplay worked instantly, just like in my car.The one thing that does not do anything is the handle-bar control that comes with BMW motorcycles, but that's to be expected as it's a proprietary interface.The unit shuts down ~20 seconds after the bike is shut down.Also, while this is clearly optimized for BMW motorcycles, there are options to use it on other bikes. As you can see in the last picture, a handlebar mounting solution is provided, and there are cables provided to run it off a standard USB port.The only thing I haven't tried is the weather resistance; I haven't been able to ride it in the rain yet, but I assume it will be waterproof. If it's not, I will update this review.Once again, this is a great unit for any motorcycle, not just the R1200GS.

I bench tested this screen before making the wiring connections to my BMW ADV bike. It was as simple as red & black wires and I was Bluetooth connected to my Google Pixel in no time. The provided harness allows for the use of an existing power cord I have that has the matching SAE plug. I can leave the wiring alone and just simply plug in to what already have. But if you have the BMW factory navigation interface, this is truly plug and play. The hard part is behind you as that old GPS unit mount now gives new purpose to . The BMW units are usually mounted high and just below the rider's line of sight, a perfect position for using the maps, the satellite radio interface and other phone functions. I leave my phone tucked away in my tank bag and the screen does all the work.My experience has been that it quickly pairs with the phone but I have had some issues getting both the phone and the helmet Bluetooth intercom to play nicely with one another. There's no point in being connected to the phone and not being able to hear through the helmet speakers. This has been a back & forth issue getting it figured out. That said, the touchscreen works well and should be fine with touchscreen capable gloves. It has been with mineThe provided mounting hardware attaches well and should be fine on the bars. Using an AMPS pad or other similar product would allow you to mount to your fairing or other flat surface. Lots of option in the market but the mounts provided work.
